Birth – 5yrs/TK

We are happy you’ve decided to join us in worship at Harvest Church. If you have children ages birth through 5 years old, who have not yet started Kindergarten, then they will participate in our Harvest Nursery Ministry zoo. Our HNM program is very intentional. Our first priority is showing children Jesus’ love. Our continual prayer is that every child will be cared for in a safe, fun, and loving place that they will want to return to again and again. We enforce a well-baby nursery for the health of children and volunteers.

Join us in-person, Sundays at 9:00 am and 11:00am.

Please contact the Children’s Ministries offices at the bottom of the page for more information.

Kindergarten – 5th Grade

HCEG Kidz is a fast-paced, fun discipleship for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Giving our children a place to BELONG, a place to GROW, learning to SERVE and making disciples to SHARE God with others.

Our desire is that children have a God-encounter each week. They have an opportunity to participate in a worship service from songs that they hear on Christian radio, experience a Bible-based message relevant to their generation, and engage in age-appropriate small groups led by Godly role models. It is the goal of HCEG Kidz to be the best 60 minutes of a child’s week!  This is accomplished through connecting children with God, building relationships with each other, and helping children discover their God-given gifts.

Discipling them to know Christ, understand His Word, grow in their own spiritual walk, and be able to share His love with others.

Join us in-person, Sundays at 9:00 am and 11:00am.

Please contact the Children’s Ministries offices at the bottom of the page for more information.

Volunteers

Our church is growing, and Children’s Ministries needs you to partner with us in discipling the next generation.
We are needing volunteers to serve ONE SUNDAY SERVICE, 2-3 TIMES A YEAR. This allows parents to attend Sunday service knowing their child is being discipled and cared for. Lack of volunteer support pushes us to turn families away.

ALL IN

WHAT IS ALL IN?
As followers of Jesus, we are called to be All In as we love Him with all our heart, soul, strength, and mind. (Luke 10:27) The Holy Spirit works in individual believers as they engage with Scripture through habits of spiritual life. Practicing healthy habits of the Christian life—reading the Bible, praying, and telling others about Jesus— helps us grow closer to Jesus and live for Him!

WHY ALL IN?
All In is a term used to describe putting all of your effort into something, to fully commit, and give it your all.

TeamKID: All In wants to help kids understand that Jesus calls us to love Him with all of our heart, soul, strength, and mind—with all that we are (Luke 10:27). He calls us to live fully committed, in our words and actions. Learning and practicing healthy habits of the Christian life helps us grow closer to Jesus and live for Him!

Parent interaction pages and student weekly pages are distributed to your students at the end of service. Check it out to see what your student is learning on Sundays.

2023 Devotions

For your child to engage in the daily devotional activities, purchase the softcover book on Amazon.com or Lifeway.com
We will be implementing a 2023 Bible reading plan through Lifeway, “Foundations for Kids: A 260-Day Bible Reading Plan For Kids” by Robby & Kandi Gallaty.
Foundations for Kids is a 260-day reading plan for kids that highlights the foundational passages of Scripture every disciple should know. Foundations for Kids follows the H.E.A.R. method. The acronym H.E.A.R. stands for Highlight, Explain, Apply, and Respond. Each of these four steps contributes to creating an atmosphere to hear God speak:
HEAR: Kids will study God’s Word and memorize a verse.
EXPLAIN: Kids will read an explanation of the verses.
APPLY: Kids will work an activity to help them apply the Bible truth.
RESPOND: Kids will have the opportunity to respond in prayer.

Can my child fast?
